They were formed in March 2019 by Nassos Vlachakis, Nik Panik, Michael Stefanidis and Yiannis Voulgaris and on November 9th of that same year, they made their first live appearance as a support band at the Astronauts gig at the “An" club. One month later, they entered the studio and recorded live their first EP "State of Emergency". It included 6 tracks that paved their mark as a "stage" band. Mixing, mastering and production of the EP was made by band members, Nassos Vlachakis and Yiannis Voulgaris. The EP came out on January 2020, on digital form, and one month later, on tape. In February 28th, 2020 they presented their EP at "Idrima 2.14" live stage. From March 2020 onwards and during the covid-19 lockdowns, they focused on writing new material. In 2022 Yiannis Voulgaris, left the band and in 2023 Babis Antaloudakis came to his place as the main drummer. In September 2023, they finished the recordings of their debut LP, titled, “Wired”. Produced By Nassos Vlachakis, mixed and mastered on tape by Theodoros Bournas, ”Wired” is the band’s first full-length release compiled by 8 new great sounding tracks. Geheimnis Music Productions – GHMN.037-N.12, Geheimnis Records – GHMN.037-N.12 (2023) Geheimnis Music Productions continues it’s amazing streak with the release of the new Data Fragments LP called "Total Absence Of Light". Data Fragments formed in 2017 and stood out from the start with their raw Post Punk energy. Having released their first S/T album in 2019 via our label, quickly became a valuable piece of the blooming Dark Wave / Post Punk scene. After a few years of absence due to some post- apocalyptic fantasy came true, the Athenian Post Punk band arose from this darkness with its new LP and a new member. Data Fragments switched to full analogue mode with Vangelis Felonis on drums, joining Panos Dedepsidis (Guitar & Vocals), Stathis Leontiadis (Bass) and Panos Dimopoulos (Synthesizers). "Total Absence Of Light" consists of the band's deepest fears, insecurities and regrets. Inner demons that hide in their darkest feelings come in life through the reflective lyrics. Dark and noisy tunes created by guitars and synthesizers and strong rhythms by the drums and bass set the atmosphere that emphasizes the lyrical subject. The album will be released in December 22nd, 2023, in 311 hand-numbered copies, 161 on black and 150 on transparent green vinyl. Geheimnis Music Productions – GHMN.036-N.11 (2023) Eddie Dark is a one man project rose from the catacombs of Athens. Taking inspiration from the melancholic but energetic sound of the 80's New wave/post punk and blending it with elements of modern synth-pop, Eddie tells grotesque stories about lost love and the uncomfortable facts about being undead with heavy doses of self awareness and poetic sarcasm, all packaged in a B-Movie horror aesthetic. On April 2023, Eddie released “Freakwave Cassette Vol.1” a 7 song EP raging from sad synthpop to aggressive synth-punk. "Λουλούδια" ("Flowers"), will be released on July 28th, 2023, on 279 copies, 140 of them on black and 139 on green vinyl.
