1981年9月に"Solid und Elegant Cassetten"から"Zorro Schlubowitz"というペンネームでリリースされたカセットテープ。 Grauzone の曲 (テープの前に出た最初の LP の "Hinter den Bergen" と半年後に Grauzone によって録音された "Ich und Du") のせいで時々 "Grauzone Demos" としても呼ばれることもある。実際 はStephan だけですが"Hungriges Afrika" ではClaudia Schifferle (Kleenex / Liliput) がサポートしています。 "Ich und Du"と"Komm zurück"は後にヴァイナルでリリースされたバージョンよりもはるかにミニマルで独自の魅力を持っています。

in 1981 STEPHAN EICHER recorded 10 tracks under the moniker ZORRO SCHLUBOWITZ and released them in an edition of only a handful of tapes given to close friends.the tracks include two GRAUZONE tracks in their earliest incarnations. "HINTER DEN BERGEN“ and „ICH UND DU“.the tracks became almost mythical in the last 40 years, many people heard of them but weren‘t sure if they really exist… I have the honour and the joy to release this treasures on my little label now…..merci stephan… I also wanna thank all of you who ordered the release since yesterday without even knowing what it exactly is…..a proof that you have trust in my releases…..that really flatters me….
