Kalte Nacht 待望のニュー・アルバムについて彼ら自身の言葉で語る:
"U R G E"は2年近くかかって誕生しました。私たちのホームスタジオでの多くの時間を通して、考えや感情を変え, お互いから学び合う。この8つのトラックでは私たちはこの深い, 避けられない旅の重要な内部の瞬間を要約し, 私たちの音楽言語を通して, それらが実際に私たちの手で感じられたこと, 耳で聞こえたこと, 味わったこと, 嗅いだこと, 目で見たことを表現しました。それは本当に共存し, 共創し, 再会し, 信頼し, 私たち全員に希望を近づけたいという強い願望です。それは毎日毎日の小さな意識的な行動でできていて, 愛によって育まれ包まれています。それは私たちの影の部分に光を注ぎ, 優しさと正直さを持って人間であることの意味にアプローチする努力です。それは私たちの真実です。多くのユニークな人々が彼ら自身の信じられないような方法で,他の人たちはそれを知らずに,それを形成するのに役立ちました。私たちは本当に彼ら全員に感謝しています。彼らなしでは不可能だったからです!」

2017年にNikosKのソロプロジェクトとして始まり, すぐにボーカルのMyrto StylouとのデュオになったKalte Nacht はダーク・ウェイヴなアーバンビートと雰囲気のあるサウンドスケープを組み合わせたプロジェクトで,心にアテネのアンダーグラウンド, 心の奥底にある感情, 人間, そして集団の交流からインスパイアされた彼らはそれぞれのダイナミックなライブパフォーマンスを通してリスナーと対話しながら影と光の狭間を歩いている。

彼らのデビュー8曲入りのセルフタイトルアルバムは 2020年3月にGeheimnis Recordsからリリースされ, 数ヶ月で完売した。ギリシャやヨーロッパの音楽会場や Wave Gotik Treffenなどのフェスティバルでライブ演奏された。2022年5月, Kalte NachtはCold Transmission Musicレーベルに参加し, 彼らのデビューアルバムをCD形式で再リリースしました。これはバンドとCold Transmissionにとって安定したセールスとなりました。2024年3月、デジタルシングル「The Last Breath」がこのニューアルバム「U R G E」の一部として息をのむようなビデオと共に公開された。

Kalte Nacht in their own words on their eagerly awaited all new album: “U R G E took almost 2 years to come to life. Through many hours in our home studios, ex- changing thoughts and feelings and learning from each other. In these 8 tracks, we summed up key internal moments of this deep, unavoidable journey, this dive within, expressing through our music language how they were actually felt to our TOUCH, HEARD with our ears, TASTED, SMELLED, and SEEN through our eyes. It’s really a strong desire to co-exist, co-create, reunite, trust, and bring hope closer to us all. It’s made of tiny bits of conscious actions each and every day, nurtured and encompassed by love. It’s an effort to spit light into our shadowy corners of being and approach with tenderness and honesty what it means to be a human. It’s our TRUTH. Many unique people helped to shape it, in their own incredible way, others without even knowing it. We truly thank them all, as it wouldn’t be possible without them!” Starting as a solo project back in 2017 from Nikos K. and very soon shaping into a duο with Myrto Stylou on vocals, Kalte Nacht is a project which combines dark wave urban beats with atmospheric soundscapes, expressed through haunting vocals, analog synths and drum machines. Inspired by the Athenian underground, innermost feelings, human, and collective exchanges, they are treding on the thin line between shadow and light, interacting with the listener, through each dynamic live performance. Their debut 8 track self-titled album was released in March 2020 by Geheimnis Records and sold out in few months. It was performed live in Greek and further European music venues and festivals such as Wave Gotik Treffen and many others. In May 2022, Kalte Nacht joined the Cold Transmission Music label and re-released their debut album in CD format, which has become a steady seller for the band and Cold Transmission. In March 2024, the digital single "The Last Breath" was revealed, together with a breathtaking video, as part of this new album "U R G E".
