Neuer Wall thus manages the balancing act between analogue extravagance and digital modesty. Homage and criticism at the same time, this album is pervaded by an almost extinguished hope by a thread, but without losing itself in cynicism. Full of charm, Konstantin Unwohl deconstructs the everyday and manages to mix nostalgic moments and zeitgeist.
